We collect client and contractor information from the people we work with, which may include names, contact information, and financial details. This means we can keep the records required to run our company day-to-day, and fulfil our legal duties.

In the case of producing captions or other media for clients, we collect necessary reference media and materials pursuant to confidental agreements.

We collect communication data from people who contact us via email or by any other method. We use this to reply to you, fulfil legal duties, and manage business operations.

Cookies

We only store first-party cookies when you log in to a private site. These consist strictly of session tokens generated in response to login with Google.

We trade information with Google (privacy policy | partner sites policy) to facilitate login, for email and business operations, and to collect analytics. As part of displaying your logged-in status on private sites, we may retrieve (but not retain) your name, email address, and avatar from your public Google profile.

We may supply our accountants and legal advisors with client data where necessary to conduct normal business operations. We do not handle or retain sensitive payment details directly.

We also post and communicate on social media platforms including but not limited to YouTube, Twitter, and Bluesky, which are governed by those platforms' terms and policies.

Disclosure

We will never sell your information.

We will never share confidential info between different clients or with third parties.

We will never pass on personal information to entities unconnected with our direct business operations except in extreme circumstances (for example emergencies, for personal safety, or for bona fide law enforcement requests).

We make sure that thorough manual and automated controls are in place to keep personal information secure. However, you should not send confidential or sensitive data to us without first notifying us and negotiating terms of its use and reuse.

We keep data for as long as necessary for business purposes, and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Pursuant to client agreements, this includes any and all confidental media and materials. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
